Hungarian lessons

Bem, comecei hoje o meu curso de Húngaro, durante duas semanas, todos os dias das 8-13, que pincel. Deixo-vos um par de exemplos só para se aperceberem o quão simples é esta língua.

Well, I've started today my Hungarian course, five ours a day for 2 weeks, Che palle, like the Italians say. This language is completely obscene for me, above are just a couple of good examples for demonstrating how easy is this language.

Debrecen Flower Festival

In the first weekend I had the privilege to see the major event of the city, the world famous Debrecen flower festival. For sure you have heard about it! :P Is just a parade with a bunch of cars with figures made from flowers representing Hungarian myths and historic events. Also they have in the middle groups full of this teenager majorettes, don’t ask me why but Hungarians really seem to love them. It’s nice to see girls throwing sticks threw the air, but I will not give it that relevance. The city was full of people to see the parade; I was told that is the only time in the all year you see more that 10 people after 10 in the main street of the city! I hope not. I just put a few pictures from the first people that I met in this place, by the way really nice and funny, and with who I spent that day. Flower car

Um autocarro cheio de minhotas

Acho que já contei isto a uns quanto de vós, mas aqui neste fim do mundo descobri um autocarro cheio de pessoal do Minho, mais especificamente um gupo folclórico, que estava cá para o festival cá do sítio que foi no meu primeiro fim de semana. Eu a pensar que passaria meses sem ver tugas, e logo no primeiro fds um autocarro cheio deles (tb conheci 3 miudas, 2 que estavam cá para aprender húngaro e uma num programa de intercambio de medicina), e todos a dormir na minha residência. Então eu e o Francesco, italiano completamente “pazzo”, fomos convidados por eles para ir ver a sua actuação, só mm estando a 3000 quilómetros de distância eu ia curtir ver uma cena assim. No fim fomos comer o belo do gulash com eles, à pato claro, e andamos a dançar com eles e os gregos, q também estavam cá para o festival, e com eles é diversão garantida. Primeiro

Olá pessoal! Tem sido uma primeira semana muito ocupada que tem feito com que não tenha tido tempo de manter a promessa de fazer o blog. Eu vou tentar actualizá-lo o melhor q conseguir, com notícias e fotos de viagens e afins. Já comecei a conhecer pessoal a rodos, mas ainda tenho metade de mim em Portugal! Abraços e beijinhos

Hello my friends!
Here I am in a completely different and strange country for me.
Things are going in the right path. I’m starting to meet new people and having fun.
More than surprising, I managed to avoid getting drunk until now. So, I think finally I’m getting in the good way; the appointments in AA are giving results!
I will try to post some pictures and to give some information from time to time. I will make na effort do maintain it bilingual.
