Bacalhau à Brás

Well, I just introduce to some of my friends the marvelous tastes of the Portuguese cuisine.
The lucky guys were Sara, Cleo, Jenny, Susan, Paul and Kat.
They are still amazed by my cooking skills :P!!

Preparing the codfish

Susan ate half of the boiled codfish ( I almost didn't have enough for the rest)

After waiting for 2 hours it was ready (it looks tasty!!)

Pequenas diferenças

Normalmente o que me agrada mais quando me mudo para um País que não o nosso belo Portugal são as pequenas diferenças. Coisas que são tão normais para nós no dia a dia, como a forma de cumprimentar quando conhecemos uma pessoa, a ordem em que se dá os beijos (tipo direita - esquerda ou esquerda – direita), o facto de na Hungria os gajos terem os caixotes do lixo fechado a cadeado, etc, etc. Mas aqui há uma pequena diferença que me deixa deveras intrigado. As sanitas, que em vez de serem como em todo o lado, com um declive contínuo até à água, aqui não, têm uma forma de patamar, em que fica literalmente estagnada aquilo que sai de dentro de nós. É uma beca nojento, porque depois podes olhar e ficas a pensar, onde é que eu tinha tanta merda acumulada, literalmente!!

I’m just horrified with the Hungarian toilets, I’m sorry but I can’t express perfectly my view about it in English. I hope that someone will leave a comment explaining the strange things.

First party in debrecen!

Well, first party in debrecen with all the people from the Hungarian course plus Susan, Cleo and Jenny. I officially started my drinking season! The pictures say everything about the night, even tough I've censured the best ones!!!
