The green fluorescent protein: discovery, expression and development

My research nowadays is tightly connected with this year Chemistry Nobel prize winners. The work of these 3 scientists changed the way we could look into the cells.
"These GFP-like proteins allow the monitoring in time and space of an ever-increasing number of phenomena in living cells and organisms like gene expression, protein localization and dynamics, protein-protein interactions, cell division, chromosome replication and organization, intracellular transport pathways, organelle inheritance and biogenesis, to name but a few."

Forgive them god, that even their blinds are so stupid that they can't see, maybe understand is more suitable, the difference between an allegory and the real life.
Well I shouldn't say this because I love my American friends and i know that lots of Americans don't fit in the normal European prejudices about them. Though, sorry, something like this could only come from your country!

Como o derby vem aí:

- Ainda sonha com a guerra [colonial]?
- Apesar de tudo, penso que guardávamos uma parte sã que nos permitia continuar a funcionar. Os que não conseguiam são aqueles que, agora, aparecem nas consultas. Ao mesmo tempo havia coisas extraordinárias. Quando o Benfica jogava, púnhamos os altifalantes virados para a mata e, assim, não havia ataques.

- Parava a guerra?
- Parava a guerra. Até o MPLA era do Benfica... Era uma sensação ainda mais estranha, porque não faz sentido estarmos zangados com pessoas que são do mesmo clube que nós. O Benfica foi, de facto, o melhor protector da guerra. E nada disto acontecia com os jogos do Porto e do Sporting, coisa que aborrecia o capitão e alguns alferes mais bem nascidos. Eu até percebo que se dispare contra um sócio do Porto, mas agora contra um do Benfica?

- Não vou pôr isso na entrevista...
- Pode pôr... Pode pôr... Faz algum sentido dar um tiro num sócio do Benfica?
