End of the second year

Here I am again at the Budapest airport waiting for my delayed (as usual) TAP flight to Lisbon.
I was thinking about all that happen this year here and believe me a lot has. Once again I had the pleasure to meet wonderful people! No picture can resume it but this is the one maybe gets near to it.

I Amsterdam!!

My life made a perfect circle these last weeks! I came first to Edinburgh for the Mid-term meeting of my Marie Curie project, where we had to impress the European officers that we have been making an excellent work.
After I went one day to Amsterdam and then to a course in a small town in the Netherlands called Wagningen, were someone stole my i-pod from my Hotel room! Outrageous I would say, till today waiting for a call from the Hotel. I should have called the cops!
When the course ended I went back to Amsterdam for two days and then I returned to Edinburgh, where I am till the 17th of July making some crucial measurements for my work!
After, one day in Hungary and the 3 weeks in the best country in the world!

Someone was always complaining that I never mentioned her in my Blog. Well, she had a point, considering all the time we spent together this last year. So here it goes one only for you my good friend!

She just became one of the youngest doctors in the world and probably in Europe!
Congratulations for the medical degree Bat-Hen. Good reason for a couple of parties more!

Depois da minha incursão em terras croatas, com atrasos de aviões à mistura, encontrei-me com o Boy e a Fania em Budapeste onde já me esperavam há um dia!
Muito bom ter cá alguém com tantas histórias em comum!
É óbvio que foram bons momentos, com tempo para semear um pouco de pânico na noite Debreciana!

Podem perguntar o porquê deste desabafo! Eu passo a explicitar, pela primeira vez em quase dois anos alguém da nossa bela Lusitana pátria se designou a vir visitar-me! Claro que com excepção da minha santa família, mas também mais valia!
Cá estiveram a Sandra e o Bruno (Sardinha para os amigos). Encontramo-nos em Budapeste onde eu e a Sandra andamos armados em Cientistas numa conferência enquanto Bruno andava a coçá-los o dia todo e depois eles vieram até Debrecen! Foi mesmo fixe ter-vos cá!
